USafricare is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, whose mission is to help save and improve lives of AIDS orphans, prevent the spread of HIV/AIDS and other crisis through social awareness and global health campaign with emphasis on the third world regions and communities with high prevalence of HIV and other health epidemic.
USafricare is also committed to providing clean drinking water to impoverished regions of the world with clean water scarcity and epidemic of water-borne diseases.
Worldwide, it is estimated that more than 14 million children under the age of 18yrs are orphaned as a result of AIDS. More than 12 million of these children live in Sub-Saharan Africa, where it is currently estimated that 9% of all children have lost one or both parents to AIDS. HIV is fast becoming an epidemic in these regions and HIV-associated mortality is expected to occur within this decade; as a result, millions of children will lose parents to AIDS. By 2010, it is predicted that there will be around 15.7 million AIDS orphans in Sub-Saharan Africa.
The number of orphans in some Sub-Saharan African countries exceeds half a million, and, in some countries, children who have been orphaned by AIDS comprise half or more of all orphans nationally.
USafricare is a nonprofit 501(c) (3) charitable organization that aims at helping to improve lives of the less privileged people in this world.
USafricare aims to provide important information on HIV and AIDS. We provide information on the numerous means of HIV transmission, public testing centers, medication and care for afflicted victims, especially orphans.
Our efforts also include providing public seminars and workshop for teenagers to encourage proactive participation in public health education on sexually transmitted diseases and its prevention.
Our website provides the most important and necessary information on AIDS, create an interactive forum for individuals ask important health related questions that will be answered by qualified health personnel.
Our targets are to save the lives of 10,000 orphans globally and to improve the lives of another 100,000 people every year through the provision of medication, clean water, safe shelter, clothing and other neccesary social amenities to impoverished individuals and victims.

We need your support. Most of our budget comes from individual donations and contribution, with over 90% of the money raised going directly to our cause.
USafricare operates with a very few staff and volunteers. Your donation, large or small is highly appreciated and will go a long way to help save a child or an adult’s life.
- $25 will provide public education and social awareness for up to 400 individuals and treatment information for 100 patients.
- $50 will cater for food and medication of 5 HIV orphans
- No amount is too small to save a life

Currently, we are looking for volunteers with experience in the health-care industry that are willing to travel to sub-sahara regions of Africa. We are also looking for an experienced graphics designer. At times, we need help with social awareness events, brochures and newsletters, so volunteers design skills and Public Relations skills are highly valued.
